This is probably the longest and most in depth of all Hakuho’s documentaries. It shows the Mongolian’s point of view on sumo. It’s a shame it doesn’t have English subtitles.
Pls don't take this to heart. We got certain uneducated folk in Mongolia eho still have a looooooooooong way to go. Do not let this change your view of Mongolians.
I think shame would be the wrong word here. I as an English speaker would appreciate if it had English subtitles but shame implies that it is wrong for not having English subtitles.
English translation or no, I got a huge amount of insight from this. To see the great Hakuho’s younger years and in so many modes - happy, playful, emotional (even in tears with his family), the obvious respect and warm admiration with Asashoryo, and even singing! Such a brilliant opportunity to see some other sides of this astonishing athlete, the greatest rikishi ever to grace the dohyo. Thank you so much for the upload, I look forward to watching it all again when I can understand the words. :)
The most interesting think he said is that. He went to a knee surgery last year. Normally this kind of surgery continues 15 min. But it continued 2 hours, so he woke up middle of the surgery and started a conversation with a doctor. And the doctor said to him that he did a lot of surgeries in his live and there was some patients who woke up at the middle of the surgery, but Hakuho was the first one who started a conversation with him 😂😂
I would so love this to have english subtitles. I'm learning japanese so I can understand Hakuho and sumo more, but to have to learn mongolian on top of that - I'm not that smart! Good luck Hakuho!

Yall learn japanese for yall anime and stuff why cant yall learn mongolian if it interests you? Hypocracy of westerners and their ready made attitude toward us "THIRD WORLD COUNTRY" to serve everything on silver platter.
