Pool water treatment 💦 Disinfection and care of the frame pool 

Disinfection of pool water. Pool water purification.
Before the initial filling, we process all the walls and the bottom with a sponge dipped in algicide. This will prevent further algae formation in the pool.
For any work with chemistry, be sure to wear protective gloves.
After filling the water or with its partial replacement, we shock treatment with fast chlorine at the rate of 1 tablet for 2 cubic meters of water, according to the instructions (4 tablets per bucket of water and pour it evenly over the pool).
Slow chlorine is used for constant disinfection, but this year we are using new 9-in-1 tablets, which contain: slow chlorine, algicide, coagulant, clarifiers, which, according to our feelings, better maintain the transparency of the water. We add pills to the float and skimmer, and make sure that they are there all the time.
After intensive bathing, violent parties, we perform shock treatment, chlorine reacts with cosmetics, sweat, other dirt particles and they precipitate in the form of white flakes - chloramines. Since we do not have a sand filter, the paper cartridge cannot capture these fine compounds, the water becomes cloudy and becomes milky white. To solve this problem, add a coagulant to the skimmer.
The coagulant binds these thin flakes into larger compounds and they settle to the bottom of the pool.
In order to remove them, we connect the vacuum cleaner to drain the water and roll back the bottom layer of water with these compounds. Thus, we carry out a partial replacement of water, approximately 10-15% of the volume.
We use water for irrigation.
Sometimes we add a little algicide to make the water clear.
To maintain the pH level, it is recommended to use the means PH + and PH-. But we think that this is a waste of money and we do not use it.
We buy all the chemicals for the pool in the construction hypermarket of our city.
The filter in our pool works approximately 6 hours a day, 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening.
To keep the pool clean, we clean the pool once a week with a homemade bottom vacuum cleaner. How we collected it, see this video. We collect insects and other debris from the surface of the water with a net.
With a sand filter, there would be less work on cleaning the pool, we plan to buy it for the next season.
