Amazing tutorial! I watched this this morning and today produced one of the most realistic renders I've ever done, and I've been around since V-ray 1.5 😄.... really great workflow...being able to balance lighting post-render is amazing! Thanks
One thing to take into account: Real-world values. You adjusted the sun's intensity in order to reduce overexposure even though in reality, that isn't possible. A photographer can only change the ISO on his camera to reduce it. Your workflow may work, but lowering the exposure on the camera would be a more realistic result. Also, I calculated the speed of your car that is driving through the street. You animated it for 10 frames and the 3ds frame rate is set to 30 fps by default. The car traveled roughly 8 meters I would say which makes it drive 24 meters/second or 86 km/h which is way too fast in your scenario. Maybe adjust those values to real-world values as well in order to achieve a more believable result.
You are entirely right. but the good thing about what we are doing is that we are not restricted by these laws. you can use the camera settings, or light intensities, or any other workflow that you want to follow. But I agree with what you said.
You made fantastic tutorial...because every one can easily understand the process and output...thank you so much...kindly make more tutorials like fog effects , dof and motion blur too...
Holy crap! Using lightmix to adjust sun and GI intensity is whey faster than I used to do by adjusting it on its parameters while interactive rendering would be actualizing it!!!!
Hello, thank you so much for your all explanation. This is really a clear and quality video about lightmixer. I will watch your other videos, I am pretty sure they are super helpful!
Great video, very educative and straight to the point. Will be so happy if you can give us something similar for an interior space, from the camera to the final render.
Really great tutorials on your channel. They help me a lot to achieve more realism in my renderings. It would be great if you would consider to make a tutorial about imperfections in texturing and maybe how to create UV maps (unwrapping) and to work with them. Looking forward to your upcoming Videos :-)
Incredible tutorial!! I've been looking for this type of tutorials for a long time, and the truth is that all your videos are amazing, I'm sure we would all like to continue seeing more, I hope you continue uploading. Also ask you where you learned to use the crown and if you have courses to take, thank you very much for the contribution! greetings from Argentina!!
i m learning exterior lighting and everything can u make one video for motion bloor car.. u using in this seen with red effect in render ? it was so helpfull for me ..
thank you for this great video, that was so helpful. I have a question, why my skey isn't blue at the beginning and when I finish the all the step it causes the problem for final render! I checked ll the setting and they were same i couldn't understand where is my mistake that the sky is so bright
It could be because of the sun light's direction. If you have a backlit situation in your render, you would most likely have a brighter or even white sky. If that's not the case, the problem could be with your exposure settings, either in the camera of the frame buffer. Last but not least, make sure that you have a skylight in the environment not a simple color.
@@HMSTUDIO2020 yeah, i started doing reels of my work ( offline client's work ) and started selling my services on fiverr. www.fiverr.com/yashmevada my Instagram : instagram.com/mar_enders/
Can you make a video on how to create materials, from taking raw pictures, making them seamless, maybe applying a pattern and creating a material in vray. Especially creating fabric materials for furniture, beds, curtains that let through light
Wow Amazing tutorial would love to see motion blur settings thanks so much can you do videos on texturing like seamless and all different textures that i cant buy online
Very useful tutorial ☺️ Good and non-destructive methods for lightning 👏🏼 I have one question about surrounding buildings? Is it just planes, with opacity and diffuse maps or actually models of buidlings? Thank you in advance!
Thank you very much for the tutorial! helped a lot. Ill hit the bell icon for your promise at 7:25 . Looking forward for your video about effects like motion blur and DOF :)
tnx for greart tutorial....is it ok to put SETUP LIGHT MIX (in render setup)after we fix our lights with lightselect ELEMENTS? or we shouldnt click on setuplight mix ??Will this ruin our work?(our light select elements..)
A very useful tutorial this make my render more realistic and have so much idea on lighting. I got some problem during the final render It only render in interactive rendering but when i try to do final render it only shows me the sky without the model. Please sir help..
I'm glad it helped. Honestly I have never faced that problem and since it shows everything in the IPR, it mush show everything in the final render as well. Obviously I don't have access to your file to figure out what is the problem, but I'd suggest to merge your scene into a new file and try again... I hope it helps.
Thank you for share this tutorial, but i have a question, why do you put into slot a correct material ? i mean, which is the result to do it ? other thing, how i can see the textures applied in the objects ? because with the firts option chequed scene/mtl override/none, all looks at the same color, even with textures applied, thank you if you can response me
i did the same thing but results are still bad, i think i need to learn how to apply material on exterior, can u make a detailed video like this on material for exterior
Hello great tutorial. Just want to ask you used the light select render element and not the corona automatic light select was that done intentionally so the sun and environment could be separated ? 🙏🏽
Hi! Great tutorial! I have a few different options on screen, might be because I have 3ds 2019? I don't have the CoronaBitmap option for example, nor the ColorCorrection, do you know any solution for that ? Thanks a lot !
