This is an overly elaborate solution to something that can be accomplished by a much simpler method. Instead of buying a bunch of parts and destroying a tote bin, just put the bowl of ice in front of the fan and point it where you want the cold air to go. 😆
В это время холодильник, тужась и охреневая, пытается заморозить очередную порцию льда, выкидывая тепло от воды в ту же комнату, где трудится этот чудо-кондиционер. В итоге становится только жарче, но на термометре, конечно, температура низкая - он же обдувается воздухом прямо из контейнера со льдом. Мудаковатый какой-то этот хитрый мастер 😂😂😂😂
при всем при этом в открытом вентиляторе нет такой тяги воздуха, что бы прогнать его через такую трубку... ))) В узкой трубке будет сопротивление гараздо больше )
@@vladimir-q4jну как-бы вентилятору не нужно супер сильно тянуть воздух с контейнера что-бы охлаждать постепенно помещение. Это рабочая схема, вопрос в отдаче и эффективности! Смотря где и для чего применять. Допустим в беседке закрытой возле дома, когда пришли гости, очень даже выход на несколько часов! Или дома, когда ночью прохладно, а днем нужно всега 2-3 часа (пока дома) иметь хоть какую нибудь прохладу… ночью заморозил, днем, по надобности, используешь…
@@kesorev кондиционер стоит денег, его установка, ещё надо определить место для установки, не у всех есть для него место, далее надо оборудовать место вне квартиры для него, по закону нельзя устанавливать кондиционер вне балкона.
Нюанс в том, что если лёд брать из холодильника, который в этом же помещении, то в итоге станет ещё теплее. Так как для заморозки воды холодильник отведет от неё тепло в помещение через конденсатор. Ну и ещё немного подогреет воздух компрессором.

By implementing this design, you may achieve much colder temperatures with less humidity being dumped into the air. Additionally, depending on barometric pressure, you may need to add ice more frequently to maintain the cold higher transfer into the air at the higher speed. And if you don't want to go through all the trouble, just use sealed Ice Packs. The condensation that forms on the outside is actually pulled from the surrounding air, taking away humidity, which is what AC units do anyway except they move it outside. Two Ice pack leaning on each other in a teepee format, allowing the fan to blow air through the centre gap, will work excellent also.
That’s a great idea! I’ve been needing an air cooling device, but I don’t need something as large as a mini-split, and evaporative cooling devices produce too much humidity for my needs. Fantastic solution!

Man around 99, or 2000, I had built a pc using that AMD slot A processor. Anyway, we had no AC, and my PC would overheat during long sessions of Ultima Online. So I kept like 20 water bottles in the freezer, and built a tube shroud around the fan, with a slot to add frozen water bottles. I then aimed it at side of PC with case off, and and myself, on the oscillate setting. So perfect, by time the water all melted in the bottle, I would swap it out with a fresh bottle, drink the water, refill and refreeze. Kept the PC and myself cool and hydrated.
@@Bluemortal001 I started during the phase two beta in '97. I played a few different servers. Mainly Great Lakes the first couple of years then took a break. Came back in 2001 to play with a buddy on Catskills and quit right after AoS was released. It was a shame really as I had become the best PvP player on that server before AoS released. It got to the point even if they had a 2v1 they wouldn't even bother trying to fight 😂 Those were the days for sure.

Перед вентилятором поставить 2 бутылки с замороженной водой в миску, направив струю возлуха на них и не делать кучу лишней работы, а на ночь на подоконник мокрое полотенце у открытого окна ..... Снижает температуру воздуха опрыскивание москитной сетки.
Probably you haven't lived in areas were the heat is unbearable and because of that humidity is less that 30%. So dealing with a little humidity more is not a concern at all.

Все верно. Это по-нашему! Вентилятор можно использовать и для другой цели, если есть баня или сауна. Стираешь в домашних условиях пуховик, отжимаешь в машинке или даёшь всей воде с него стечь. После вешаешь в горячей бане и включаешь там на него вентилятор. 3 часа - пуховик сухой, пышный и душистый! После того как мне в химчистке один испортили, а другой вернули плохо вычищенным, делаю так. Безплатно.
A slower melt means it's absorbing less heat energy so it's working less quickly. Ice can only absorb so much energy before it melts. You can have a cold room quickly for a short time or a mildly cooler room slower for a longer time. More use using the ice to cool the person rather than the room
Which would be good in some areas. I live in southeast New Mexico where my skin looks like a lizard most of the time because the air is so dang dry all of the time.
Ice Might last 30 min I did something similar years ago with a deepfreeze billiard pump and a radiator out of a Honda civic had the hoses insulated radiator enclosed billiard pump, Pumped water through pvc pipes I had in the ice that was frozen the ice was about 4ft by 5ft thick it would last about 6/8 hours before it was completely melted and Yes the freezer was plugged in and worked fine my shop would cool off some but it need to be insulated to much heat came in from the roof..

For those thinking this is a swamp cooler, it's not. Swamp coolers (aka, evaporative coolers) are pretty effective in hot, dry climates. The contraption shown in this video is not a swamp cooler. A swamp cooler actually adds moisture to air that is too dry to be comfortable, and while doing so, it drops the temperature of the air to a lower temp called the wet bulb temperature. Every pound of water that evaporates in a swamp cooler delivers almost 1,000 btu's of cooling. A gallon and a half of water that evaporates in a swamp cooler (per hour) can do as much cooling as a 1 ton AC unit. But this here contraption isn't evaporating the water, it's melting ice, which produces only 144 btu's per pound of ice melted, plus a few extra btu's to warm the ice melt to about 50 degrees. So even if this contraption did a great job at exposing the ice to the warm air (which is does not do), it would still take 10 gallons of water to do as much cooling as 1.5 gallons of water in a swamp cooler used in the right way. In other words, this contraption looks great until you do the math, it's a joke, a gimmick. A one ton AC unit means that you'd need one ton of ice every 24 hours to do what it can do. That's 2,000 pounds of ice. That's 1.4 pounds of ice each and every minute of the day. That's about 2 ice cube trays each and every minute. So, you can see the problem.
Yea right only dumass people will try this it works but .no for AC performance.. No I will not believe This in a bout twenty minute the ice will turn to water...so its a reacuring idea
A self condensing cooling tower where the material condenses to a liquid at night and evaporates to gas in the day time should do it. So boiling point should be higher than night temperature. The tower can be designed in such a way that it condenses vapors to fluids in day time. Thanks for suggestions and books.
Зачем эти извращения с порчей ящика? Положил это лед в таз и обдувай вентилятором. Только неплохо бы подсчитать сколько льда потребуется чтобы охладить комнату с 30 до 24 градусов. Интуитивно чувствую, что боольшая куча!
а если вместо льда использовать аккумуляторы холода, эффект будет дольше в раза 2-3 ибо плотность геля в этих аккумуляторах выше чем у воды! Они дольше замерзают, но так же дольше потом отдают своё тепло… точнее ХОЛОД 🫠
You could just put the ice in front or the back of the fan to get either cold or cool air… You don’t need to puncture tote bins or steal kid’s thermometers

This is not good enough. it's just something u could use to cool your face off, not a room. There are better designs on youtube than this, but it will raise humidity Also, the ice melts in less than 30 minutes, and u have to replace it to keep the air cool. Save yourself the time a split ac is the best option.
I think this method can be improved by using a polystirene box instead of a plastic one and ice packs instead of cubes, both should allow the freshness to last longer and increase its efficiency
Ma to wadę, że daje jeszcze więcej wilgoci. A w upale najgorsze jest nie tylko temperatura, tylko wysoki poziom wilgoci (klimat tropikalny). Klimatyzator powinien osuszać powietrze, a ten wynalazek z video dodaje jeszcze więcej wilgoci.
Hmm use refrigerator to make ice, energy used for that heats the house, then melt the ice cubes in the house, house is still warmer than if you did nothing. Ive got an even better idea. Save yourself the extra steps and just keep your refrigerator doors open while it's running. Dont overthink this guys, just trust me on this simple lifehack.
These videos are such a waste of time, but I guess some people need to go through all this trouble to find out that it doesn't work. You'd be better off just putting the ice in a drink and swallowing. Understand that doing the cooling that even a small bedroom sized unit (9,000 btu) can provide would require you to add new ice every 4 minutes. Good luck with that.

Any grandma would tell you to add salt to that ice, because she's made ice cream by hand before and even though she probably didn't understand the chemistry it does work. Not sure why you used a soldering iron to cut a hole in a plastic lid, but Maybe you enjoy the smell? I can't say I wouldn't have done it if the iron was already hot. Now for the science of why this won't actually work: AC units, like refrigerators, don't just blow cold air. Their strength is in removing energy from a closed system (estimated to be closed, its never a fully closed system which is why you keep spending energy, to move energy lol). Heat IS energy, cooling something is the removal of energy, refrigerators literally suck energy out of a closed area and blow it out behind them (feel behind your fridge). They do return some room air back to the closed area after running it over a shitload of surface area with coolant on the other side (same principle as making ice cream). But you can only get so far without actually removing heat. Same principle as opening thr freezer and putting a fan in it. It will blow cold air at you, but the heat its generating to make that cold air in front, is canceling itself in the back. This is also why swamp coolers, of you ever lived in Central valley, CA or the southern US, don't really work past about 85 degrees, and it's more about the human body than it is the cooler.
