I was invited to the home of BMW to take a look at the BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R! Personally, I've never been able to rev a concept car before, and what I heard was music to my ears! @@markuslihtte8733 unfortunately he only said that in theory it could be made for a buyer, presumably for the right money. In practice, it's still not on the production line and likely will never be. Hopefully I'm wrong.

@@tlbagnall Nah ur right. The production costs of just a few would be so high, that you`d have to sell this thing for a ridiculous price. Also with the whole world going electric, this thing doesn`t fit in their strategy at all. Of course it is sad, cause that thing looks absolutely beautiful.

I love how they returned the Roundel to the c pillar, the led “X”s in the headlights, the side exit exhaust, the entire body modifications. This is a perfect progression of the original 3.0 CSL.

That's daily business in the car industry. They build prototypes and concept cars to evaluate what's possible and they mostly were never built. But only some parts of this cars find their way to the production line.

That amazing front end actually looks good with the new large grilles, it looks MEAN, that single exhaust is awesome and sounds MEAN, those rims are beautiful and add to the MEAN! MAKE THIS CAR ASAP!! Put a supercharged S-85 in it and it would be perfect! I'd love one with a normal interior, though.

In a concept car they don't have to hold back. For road legal cars there are a ton of regulations that make cars sound worse nowadays.

@@priterna6130 When you say repairs, do you mean if the car gets damaged? I have owned 5 BMWs and never had to get one repaired. I have only had to service the car and buy parts. Maximum is around $2500 a year. The car is $100k. So how do the repairs cost more than the car? If I crash it into a tree, then yes the cost to repair it back to new will be more than $100k.

Ein extrem schönes Auto, Wahnsinn was BMW da gebaut hat. Und genau so muss ein Traum Sportwagen aussehen. Es wäre wunderbar, wenn dieses Fahrzeug den Weg in die Serien Produktion schaffen würde. The only BMW which deserve the Most Wanted name. I mean I love BWMs but they are not the same.

BMW is a company that always created a concept car that actually worked 100% but they never brought it to the market. Just like a statement "Look what we can do when we want to" which in terms of production is not exactly cheap. Most car manufacturers are happy when their concept goes to shows and later with some retouching goes into serial production. Having a car simply "for fun" would be a deep draw into the pockets of everyone. Some manufacturer did every now and then a concept car but merely as a shape made out of foam and covered in a wrap so it would look like an actual car. Nowadays with all CADs and other graphical software they don't even do this anymore. Or very very rarely. So if BMW actually has a concept car that IS for sale.... then there will be a buyer somewhere willing to buy one. Most likely somebody from UAE or a similar country.
