There are supposed to be a lot of moose in Latvia, a very big and dangerous animal. Also many wolves and bears and also these animals that I think are called bison. Also very big and dangerous. There are also wild horses. I am afraid of a domestic horse as they bite and kick and usually I try to stay away from them. The wild ones are just as big and may not like people wondering into their territories. All these I wouldnt want to meet in the forest, sometimes it can be quite scary. Plus the wild pig, meža cūka

@@LatvianFamilyVlog yes, its interesting. there are supposed to be a lot of moose in latvia but i have never encountered one. dont know where they live. only one time when i was a kid somewhere around vecumnieki when collecting mushrooms deep in the forest I saw big moose (or maybe deer) antlers on the ground. Perhaps bears are not too many but who knows where they might be. But in latvia there is a big problem with wolves and they are not afraid of people. in many places in latvia farmers dont know what to do because wolves take their sheep, goat and cow at nights. also pet animals such as dogs and cats. For example in Ķemeri national park there are supposed to be a lot of wolves, they live there with those wild horses and maybe eat them as well

actually i read that there are around 21 000 moose in latvia, that is a lot for such a huge animal. also wolves are around 600. perhaps more. that is also a lot for an animal that needs large territories. one group of wolves usually control a very large area. Moose can be very aggressive or defensive when encountered in the wild. And the meeting probably will not be good, there is nothing much a human can do. A while ago a zoo keeper sadly was killed by a male camel in Rīga zoo. If a camel can do that a moose or a wild horse should be able to do the same
