While western Tier1 SF units like SAS,DEVGRU,Delta,Polish GROM,SASR,KSK,FSK etc share the same tactic as they train together and pretty much everyone is copy of British SAS/SBS, Russian must develop their own tactics - this is interesting
J. DeWille yeah, but why change it just to change it? Plus it’s not super copied and sf in sas are told not to share their tactics but basic and known tactics. Plus I doubt they’re going to show real advance tactics on camera. I mean how different can they go, if it’s working use it. I’m clam but expect some super SALLLTY Russian sf fan boys. Ps I’m from Britain so I’m going to back sas/sbs all the way.
J. DeWille oh and ex western guys train them as well (fsb (not a lot of training))- speaking for sas I doubt they get trained by eastern or other western sf. I find it highly unlikely. If anyone has proof
All of those western groups are military units that do most of their work in war zones. The FSB is an internal security force that primarily deals with domestic terrorist threats. Two very different scenarios that require different tactics.
@@maze2512 what i'm going to tell you is russians are never against borrowing a concept if they see sense in it - look at the 5.45 round, however their tactics and doctrine are developed based on lessons they learned in THEIR previous engagements, which may or may not coincide with lessons learned by western nations. some westerners may see their methods as strange (though this has fortunately changed in the past few years), but rest assured it's well thought out and developed through an iterative process. it's interesting because you are starting to see some eastern bloc concepts like rangefinder reticles and IAR's filtering their way into western culture.
It's called a 'frag suit', I'll be damned if I know the actual russian name for it... But 'frag suit' or 'fragmentation suit' is what it's generaly called
@@erlend6338 dictatorship is just a form of government. Doesn't mean it is bad. Just like a democracy isn't necessarily good. A good monarchy is better than a bad democracy for example and vise versa. And to be honest virtually all democracies are oligarchies disguised.
Serbian special forces don't using multicam. :) We using our Serbian m10 digital camo, standard digital camo, digital woodland camo, some units could still use woodland camo, and black uniforms are still very popular.
Isn't it because the western gadgets they use were off the non-government companies? So the makers are free-willy to sell it to anyone so long it's not terrorist groups and other villain organizations?
@@divecolosio4988 its more funny because russia is very proud of their domestic arms manufacturing, yet when it come to their special forces they buy from western companies/countries
@@ThatGamerGuyNL Yes and no, they use both. Pretty good rule of thumb is High Speed -> Western bought or clones (JPCs, helmlets) Heavy Armor -> russian made (frag suits, heavy plate carriers etc)
The SAS invented close quarters combat and the SEALs and CAG perfected it to the point where they flow like liquid through the buildings. The Russia special for S&S are good BUT they decided to reinvent their own version of close quarters combat that is not as effective. They also claim to be so much better than the US SOF but they use their same gear and have a shitty CQC style. Good job but nah...I'll stay in the US.
Oleg Ushyarov What have russian special forces done that americans haven’t?! they can’t even leave their own country without breaking about 11 different sanctions!
