Stasik is now a military medic, and what she does is evacuation of wounded from the battlefield. She shares their suffering every day, and suffers losses of her friends all too often. So, my guess, her image in the clip is not an allegory to mother nature, but she is the one who has to, time and again, guide the souls of heroes when they cross the waters of Styx. 'Heroes never die' is a slogan that has been abused a lot in Ukraine lately, as if trying to console people who have lost their loved ones. But this, as Stasik said, is a blatant lie, and her song is the best illustration to this ever
Anastasia Shevchenko, known under the pseudonym STASIK, is a Ukrainian soldier, a participant in the war in Donbas, as well as a singer, actress and TV presenter. 2013-2014 - Euromaidan activist. 2014 - marksman medic and self-help and mutual aid instructor under fire in an anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. She returned due to her health. For a year, she worked as an instructor in "Protection of Patriots": she taught first aid under fire. Then she went on another rotation and in a few months left the teaching staff.
Special thanks to you, Maurice, for this reaction. Almost 8 months ago, Stasik gave an interview where she said she didn’t have inspiration for any creativity because of all the pain she is going through every single day. I hoped she would find some resource to create smth which can express the feelings of so many Ukrainians and she did it, I’m deeply grateful to her for this. She is amazing, having so empathic soul and talent to embody difficult things into music.

Hops... And for the war... Don't wait for me, my friend, because I will die there. I walked and walked, I went to where the hoofed, He hasn't wrapped my hands and breasts yet... And I will not return from under that hill. My brothers and sisters are there. They lie, they lie, there under the shadow mountain, and the earth carries me from battle to battle. Do not wait for me, mother, oh, do not follow the road, The bullet is looking for me, because I am also looking for her.
How beautiful - oh my goodness . Crying . What artists…. It’s so deep , painful , haunting , and so poignant, despite not being able to understand the language - they seems to be holding their children whom they have lost and sending them across. Oh wow . Loved it . Btw my favorite shirt on you ! 😢 and 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. Interesting the Carpathian , Viking and Druid tie ins . information Again, thank you uncle Momo.❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
For any non-ukrainian I shoul mention that she is not just an average artist. She also a warrior herself. She fought against russian scum herself as a member of military a unit. She was through all of this herself. As I know she is still suffering some post-warfare mental issues, she told that in some inerviews.
thank you very much for the response of this good song with "heavy" lyrics. I think the boat may be related to the myth that the souls of the dead cross the river by boat to the underworld you might also like other songs with "heavy" lyrics СТАСІК - A lullaby for the enemy (eng. sub) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-40WD9RDAMVc.html or паліндром - не дожив\palindrom - did not live to see ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vYTS66woLvw.html
You might be interested to read her interview about this song (link bellow). She says "I think I didn't release the song earlier because I was weaker internally than I am now, and I wasn't ready for the potential hate that could arise around the song. And in fact, I understand that I will most likely face a backlash from people who will say that I am playing into the hands of the enemy and demoralizing our troops and civilians. Like, everyone already understands that heroes die , you don't need to talk about it out loud, you don't need to rock the boat. But now I am much stronger". I am Ukrainian and can see a lot of contradictions in the comments of original video: - one side (mothers, siblings, relatives of dead solders ) says that cannot stand to hear this slogan «Heroes don't die» after facing death of a loved one... - other side states that Stasik desecrated this slogan, slogan that became vitally significant after Revolution of Dignity in 2013. In the lyric she sings why Heroes die - Ukraine doesn't have enough weapons("eaten by rust"), medicine ("ambulances not fast enough"), transportation ("diesel tanks are empty"). They die in a battle because it is the WAR that Russia has started, chasing it's ugly imperialistic hunger. Stasik plays role of Charon - ferryman , who transport souls of deceased over the Rivers Styx. You should know, that Stasik is on the frontline now as a combat medic, and her role as Charon is the real one, in the real life. This work is yet another reminder to continue supporting Ukraine and remember our heroes ("not one among the lists of names and names of units"). suspilne.media/526607-spivacka-i-vijskova-stasik-cas-skazati-so-geroi-vmiraut-za-nas-intervu/?fbclid=PAAaYXgr8sDEYyyTccIm1Ek3z5PnUXAds2gm2T1mYbPzDwgetzwC379n4g7lg_aem_AdZAYh3lGF5I4loinmZT8xLIJzxmKLuu0B7aPdRlx1nX6E0ioHLLMg-jzdhMy7kFNVo
During the Great Migration, part of the inhabitants of present-day Ukraine migrated to the territory of present-day Scotland. And in the 17th century, one of the most famous Cossacks lived in Ukraine, which was then called the country of the Cossacks, who had the high rank of Hetman, and he was a native of Scotland.
