How much I enjoy riding in these tramways through so many cities all over the world. The idea of no comments, musical background is superb, they would ruin the solace, pleasure and tranquility I derive going from place to place and contemplate the beauty that all these cities possess. It's a true joy to eyes and mind to … riding along in the comfort and peace of our homes. Thumbs up !

I wonder why all the trams are so different. Different colors, styles, construction. Are they owned and operated by different companies, each with different rolling stock? Not even a consistent logo from the city's transportation department.
There is only one tram operator and perhaps different tram types and colors are because these trams originate from different times and makers. The oldest is, if I'm not mistaken, refurbished Tatra T3, then there are perhaps two models built in Ust'-Katavsk, Polish Pesa Fokstrot trams, and new Raussian cars made by PC Transport Systems.
At the time of filming the video, the trams of different wagon factories are painted in different colors. Now almost all trams in Moscow are blue, like buses and electric buses.
Does anyone knows the answers? 1 what kind of link are in use. They don't look like original Scharfenberger links. Are they copies, Russian system,....? 2 Hard to tell from outside, but car 1402 sounds like a PCC car. Is it? :) Get me blind in to a tram, and I can tell you if it is a PCC traction or not, just by the sound of the "relais" (don't know the English word) when the pedal gives full troth. :) yes, in 1961? in Antwerp I was fascinated by the new PCC trams. I do know the disadvantages of the PCC traction causing a huge amount of power when the pedal gives full thrust. :D 3 Was it in Cairo where they bought 2nd hands PCC trams causing an (tram-) electricity shutdown? :/ if you have answers, please let me know! Daniel McLion Yeah, this tram with number 1402 it's the type "T3" (Tatra) which was 7 since 1960 to circa 1990 and his producer "ČKD Praha" (Prague, former Czechoslovakia) had the licence from american PCC. The first licensed czechoslovakian PCC streetcar was made in 1951 as the model T1 (I think that it's a most elegant tram ever) :)

отличная подборка ,а внутри то как хорошо везде шлакбаумы вход только спереди и ценник в три раза дороже чем везде , пути такие же ржавые и кривые ,столица уже не в авторитете ,равнение на европу и азию

@@denismattsson6189 бюджеты распиливают. Если уж хотите экологический транспорт, то очевидно, что лучше троллейбусы , которые намного дешевле, тише, мягче и манёвреннее
Владислав Магров это не такой экологический транспорт хотя бы потому что он уже шинный. Во вторых вместимость троллейбуса намного ниже вместимости трамвая.
