Keep it up young man.Im 51 and have just purchased an ST3 in black.Kids are up now and it was time for ME.Thanks to you and a couple of others I chose the car after a test drive.Thanks.
I think the headlights are supposed to go to the left a bit so they dont dazzle other drivers. Lights look really good. Gonna upgrade my drl/mainbeam after seeing the difference here.👍🏻
I have a 2015 Ford Fiesta. I would love to get LED bulbs for mine, everything I have researched says that it is not road legal to install LED bulbs in halogen headlamps and not safe to install because of the halogen headlamps, due to heat from the LEDs, plus as its a halogen headlamp you don’t benefit properly from the LED due to the headlamp being made for only halogen bulbs. You need LED made headlamps to fit LED bulbs. I’ve looked and looked, I cannot find any aftermarket headlamps that are LED 🤷♂️.
Nice, I recently bought LED dipped beam lights for my ST from Autobeam. They work well, for me though they didn't improve visibility much but they are a cool white and have a 5 year warranty 👌 Also if you want a new rubber cap Autobeam sell ones that are longer to cover the LED back end so water doesn't get in, I got them with mine and they fit perfectly.
Fiesta 2015 ecoboost. With mine the new lights fits in just a bit to touch the 3 pin connection. It's not rotating fully. Cut my finger Trying to twist it in place, no room at all. Unless I take out the casing those 2 screws and then install the led outside. What a pain. And this is on the right hand side and imagine no room at all on the other side. Yellow lights have to come off either way.
You can get the colour changing running light surround thingy’s for the front fog lights at auto beam works of an app on ur phone 👌🏻😎 look cool at night 💡
How do you get the little screws out specifically the inside screw on the high beam bulb i have a mk7.5 ford fiesta ecoboost you didn't show how u did it u carnt get a allan key in there please help
I was wondering if you were installing the ballasts a.k.h CANBUS, but you seem to have left them in the box. I haven't a clue how you could install them in a Fiesta, being a modular system. A friend of mine made a similar installation and ended up with the lamp holders getting too hot and burning out. Are yours still alive?
N64 gaming No, LED and HID aftermarket kits have always been illegal, and are an MOT fail, although most people don’t tend to run into issues with them. But yeah, illegal for road use
LEDs are not better - Compare LEDs and HIDs on the same car as the projector can make a massive difference on light projection. HIDs are noticeably brighter, providing you have a good kit of course.
Agreed. Seems that many people say that LED's are brighter, and they may be, but they don't throw the light as far as the HID's (in a proper, projector housing). That's why companies like Acura use crystals to direct the LED beam further. I have LED's in my fogs and HID's (in a projector housing) for my headlights.
Do not follow this. He missed two screws on the head lights. Miss those and you risk damaging your entire headlight and grille. You also don't need to remove that bottom ring on the H15 (DRL/Highs). Removing the ring will mean you end up touching bulbs (if using) and killing them. The bulb very easily screws out. The H7 in the dipped is actually more of a PITA. I recommend practicing with the old bulb if you've never fitted one before. Haynes have a great vid here on RU-vid for this car. The LED DRL ones are largely the same but the main beam is H1. You can even swap them using forscan. These random LED's are a nightmare and using them in your headlights isn't legal. I have had a lot of luck with osram premium line LEDs in the interior of cars that don't have canbus on these circuits. The cheap ones have limited QC.
