@@joji9986 noise modifier doesnt have levels. You wont get same result. Its kinda close but its uglier, IMO. Tried for hours here with noise modifier and it didnt work out for me :(
@@ArchVizArtist but you are teaching people that it is needed. Most of your viewers dont need to animate flamingos and high poly eats their limited resources. Keep up the great work.
@@ArchVizArtist when you do a tutorial and you tell people to use subdivide on a simple plane to get dense mesh, people are gonna do it every time. Thats how tutorials work. This is just a friendly observation. Dont get angry.
@@hldemi she is 100% correct in her approach, she did not use Corona displacement, she used normal displacement, ergo the reason for the increase in mesh. If you notice this way the actual mesh changes shape before she renders. You are correct if you use Corona displacement then yes , no need for subdivision : ) Hopes this clears it.
nice tut, I am a problem with plane geometry, view the triangolation after subdivide modificator and other thing, after change color in SSS the plane view contiune to see in grey, why that? thanks
Got confused at the slate material editor part. I followed exactly and I haven't got the material box there to plug into a noise one. I can get the noise box there but no the material. When I tried dragging from the sample slots (the one applied to the plate) it comes up a red and blue version with no diffuse colour option to plug into??
your tutorials are a GOD SEND i love them and the way you explain everything ! BUT would it be too much trouble to show corona AND vray settings i get that its double the work but it would be really helpful for vray people that are enjoying your content i bet we are just as many as the corona dudes and dudets
@@ArchVizArtist It wasn't fun at all and the VCM engine in Renderman dedicated for caustics calculates this for sooo loooong time. But I'm not Pixar with renderfarm so I'm not suppose to use it hah. For my taste, Corona produces the best looking caustics out there.
Sadly vray GPU doesn't include caustics...I need to mix the render ( GPU based) with the caustics render element in post. Very helpful tutorial. Keep it up
Hi, I'm trying to create underwater scene (not avatar 😉 with ocean and phoenix fd but actually it's working from the sky but not underwater, someone could help me please ?
