I am hooked on this channel. I'm fed up with war, war, war, covid, covid. My great-grandmother was from White Russia which I believe is now Belarus. She arrived in the mid-19th century.

The question is very strange and, frankly, it seems that you know very little about Russia and its history, and what you know is not true. Russia has always been a part of Europe and the world and, of course, fashion has always been the same everywhere. It's like asking why Russians wear shorts or T-shirts. )))) Why don't you have the same question about Germany or the Czech Republic? ))) I think you need to come to Russia somehow, you probably haven't been here. By the way, this dance was staged about 50 years ago. )))

@@AntonGloba You are correct. I know very little about Russia, this is why I ask silly questions :))). I would love to visit Russia one day but American propaganda and fear of Russia means it is not possible. Best wishes to your people. :)
