Be more specific, they voted for them back in 2005, they support their government, but to be a bit fair, the people of Gaza have no freedom, if they dared to critic Hamas they would disappear or worse get brutally murdered to set an example. Hamas commanders made millions from illegal Alcohol sale (it's forbidden in the Islam, and so in Gaza), not very religious of them as a religious movement, and yet no one has ever dared to criticize them.
