@@lovorka3321 1. The language is Hebrew, not Jewish. Jewish is our religion/ ethnicity, not our language. 2. The band's still active and going strong. I saw them live at one of the biggest venues in Israel a few months ago.

Turkey has never got the support of imperialists and has never been a fundamentalist country, never claimed lands according to what was written in a so called "holy" book. @JonyBaez Your 100% right. Look on their Wikipedia page. The Cure is one of their biggest influences. It doesn’t say it on Wikipedia, but it’s obvious The Police/Sting are big influences if you listen to some of their other most popular songs from the 80’s/90’s.

The music video is self-explanatory from the lyrics. It's about a [depressed] man waiting on a miracle, for an angel, to show him to the lover which awaits him and wants him, always. To take them to a place he's never been-to which has something there which he doesn't have here, always. Sometimes everything appears the same, other times there's a brief moment of happiness. Send an angel to make him happy and enlighten him. And maintain what needs to be maintained. Basically, all of this is just fantasy, which he shares with lions, leopards, and other zoo animals which also fantasize about finding a home. (which explains the costumes of the animals which are in the "same boat" as him)

Disclaimer: the above is a summarizing-translation and I've stumbled on slang before, I'm no Israeli, but for the most-part, my grasp of Hebrew is fairly good. And using a few educated-guesses concerning the intended meaning of the words, from the music video, I think my summary captures the song's essence. Although I might have stumbled on a word or two.
