The answer to your second question is that we believe that if nonjews kept the 7 laws that g-d gave to Noah then they wont go to hell ,because they are considered a righteous gentile and will have a share in the world to come 7 LAWS OF NOAH Do establish laws. Don’t curse God. Do not practice idolatry. Do not engage in illicit sexuality. Do not participate in bloodshed. Do not rob. Do not eat flesh from a living animal. (please do some research for the full depth of each law) Jews on the other hand must keep 613+ laws , thats why its "hard" to be Jewish and we try to dissuade people at first from becoming converts due to the consequences of not fulfilling them or breaking them.
