در این مجموعه، سعدی نظاره‌گر داستان است و نقش راوی را در داستان ایفا می‌کند و اشعاری را می‌خواند، مردم کوچه بازار به طور سنتی طراحی و نقاشی شده‌اند اما برای ارتباط بهتر مخاطب با شخصیت‌های داستانی از دیالوگ‌های عامیانه تری استفاده شده است.
