Text: 1Kings 15:5, John 16:8

For David had done what was right in the eyes of the Lord and had not failed to keep any of the Lord’s commands all the days of his life-except in the case of Uriah the Hittite.
"And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment." John 16:8
David's conviction died when he fell into adultery with Bathsheba, leading him to cover up his sin with deceit and murder. It wasn't until the prophet Nathan confronted him with a parable that David was convicted of his wrongdoing, leading him to repent and seek God's forgiveness. This story illustrates the danger of a hardened heart and the transformative power of genuine repentance when one is confronted by truth.
