سورة الانشقاق
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
﴿١﴾ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ
1. When the sky is ruptured.
﴿٢﴾ وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ
2. And obeys its Lord, as it must.
﴿٣﴾ وَإِذَا الْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ
3. And when the earth is stretched.
﴿٤﴾ وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ
4. And ejects its contents and becomes empty.
﴿٥﴾ وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ
5. And obeys its Lord, as it must.
﴿٦﴾ يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنْسَانُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَاقِيهِ
6. O, man! You are laboring towards your Lord, and you will meet Him.
﴿٧﴾ فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ
7. As for him who is given his book in his right hand.
﴿٨﴾ فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا
8. He will be reckoned with an easy reckoning.
﴿٩﴾ وَيَنْقَلِبُ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُورًا
9. And will return to his family delighted.
﴿١٠﴾ وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ وَرَاءَ ظَهْرِهِ
10. But as for him who is given his book behind his back.
﴿١١﴾ فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُو ثُبُورًا
11. He will call for destruction.
﴿١٢﴾ وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًا
12. And will enter a Blaze.
﴿١٣﴾ إِنَّهُ كَانَ فِي أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُورًا
13. He used to be happy among his family.
﴿١٤﴾ إِنَّهُ ظَنَّ أَنْ لَنْ يَحُورَ
14. He thought he would not return.
﴿١٥﴾ بَلَىٰ إِنَّ رَبَّهُ كَانَ بِهِ بَصِيرًا
15. In fact, His Lord was watching him.
﴿١٦﴾ فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِ
16. I swear by the twilight.
﴿١٧﴾ وَاللَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ
17. And by the night, and what it enshrouds.
﴿١٨﴾ وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا اتَّسَقَ
18. And by the moon, when it is full.
﴿١٩﴾ لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَنْ طَبَقٍ
19. You will mount stage by stage.
﴿٢٠﴾ فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
20. So what is the matter with them, that they do not believe?
﴿٢١﴾ وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْآنُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ ۩
21. And when the Quran is read to them, they do not bow down?
﴿٢٢﴾ بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُكَذِّبُونَ
22. In fact, those who disbelieve are in denial.
﴿٢٣﴾ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ
23. But Allah knows what they hide inside.
﴿٢٤﴾ فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
24. So inform them of a painful punishment.
﴿٢٥﴾ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ
25. Except for those who believe and do good deeds-they will have a never-ending reward.
سورة البروج
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
﴿١﴾ وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ
1. By the sky full of constellations.
﴿٢﴾ وَالْيَوْمِ الْمَوْعُودِ
2. And by the Promised Day.
﴿٣﴾ وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ
3. And by the witness and the witnessed.
﴿٤﴾ قُتِلَ أَصْحَابُ الْأُخْدُودِ
4. Destroyed were the People of the Trench.
﴿٥﴾ النَّارِ ذَاتِ الْوَقُودِ
5. The fire supplied with fuel.
﴿٦﴾ إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌ
6. While they sat around it.
﴿٧﴾ وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ
7. And were witnessing what they were doing to the believers.
﴿٨﴾ وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ
8. They took vengeance on them only because they believed in Allah the Almighty, the Praised.
﴿٩﴾ الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
9. He to Whom belongs sovereignty over the heavens and the earth. And Allah is witness over everything.
﴿١٠﴾ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ الْحَرِيقِ
10. Those who persecute believing men and believing women, then do not repent: for them is the punishment of Hell, and for them is the punishment of Burning.
﴿١١﴾ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْكَبِيرُ
11. Those who believe and do righteous deeds will have Gardens beneath which rivers flow: that is the supreme triumph.
﴿١٢﴾ إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ
12. The onslaught of your Lord is severe.
﴿١٣﴾ إِنَّهُ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ
13. It is He who begins and repeats.
﴿١٤﴾ وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الْوَدُودُ
14. And He is the Forgiving, the Loving.
﴿١٥﴾ ذُو الْعَرْشِ الْمَجِيدُ
15. Owner of the Glorious Throne.
﴿١٦﴾ فَعَّالٌ لِمَا يُرِيدُ
16. Doer of whatever He wills.
﴿١٧﴾ هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْجُنُودِ
17. Has the story of the legions reached you?
﴿١٨﴾ فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ
18. Of Pharaoh and Thamood?
﴿١٩﴾ بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي تَكْذِيبٍ
19. In fact, those who disbelieve are in denial.
﴿٢٠﴾ وَاللَّهُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ مُحِيطٌ
20. But Allah encloses them from beyond.
﴿٢١﴾ بَلْ هُوَ قُرْآنٌ مَجِيدٌ
21. In fact, it is a Glorious Quran.
﴿٢٢﴾ فِي لَوْحٍ مَحْفُوظٍ
22. In a Preserved Tablet.
