Dr sahab great analysis about Dr Zakir. We are very innocent and sentimental people and quickly inspire from religion and personalities. This is the issue we could not develop. Look at the western world, where people judge their politicians and national heroes from their code of conducts. From past 75 years we are making fools by religion, nationalism and by language. But at the same time I was also surprised when I listened that he is coming to Pakistan. Dr Moeed, please ignore any such comments that sound like creating or supporting any Holy Cows. I truly believe that we are undergoing a new learning process and for that we need to un-learn a lot of stuff, may it be politics, history or religious points of views. This process of un-learning is painful for some of us, as we have to shed away our previous knowledge and beliefs. We (people like you, who shape opinions) need to say things, even if those are wrong. As unless we speak of a contrasting view, how could we debate and understand the strength or weakness of any idea. So please continue. Secondly, I also respect Dr Zakir Naik for his intra faith study. But I am surprised to hear his reply on existence of social curses in "Islamic Environment". Apart from historical perspective that you covered on that, there a basic lack of understanding of whole religious idea. Religion, Islam or others, is set of two elements only. Faith (whom to worship and obey) and Ethics (code of conduct in that religion). Unfortunately, most of our society (lead by clerics) focuses only on faith part and some worships (ibadaat) that's also outcome of faith element. And most religious "scholars" hardly preach and emphasize on ethical side. That's the reason that we live in "Islamic environment" (shaded by ibadaat etc) but have almost all kind of ethical shortcomings. I think that's what Dr Zakir should have explained rather than taking such a black and white stand that a muslim will never err.

On security China knows perfectly well which local power is behind the attacks against China on pak soil. If China punishes that power by full support to its separatist groups and freedom fighters and movements against oppression and economic exploitation, that power will fall on its knees and stop attacking China. Nobody can provide security until China develops the will to hit back at the source and planners and funders of the violence by supporting the resistance of the oppressed in that regional enemy. If the regional enemy can support local pak groups against Chinese projects, then China must also support the oppressed groups in that country, Dalits, Naxalites, Nagas, Manipuris, other 7 sister states, tribals whose land is being stolen by pro-Modi mining corporations, Ladakhis protesting 370 violation, Sikhs, AND KASHMIRIS!. As soon as there is some serious tit for tat that coward country will back off in fear. Offence is the only defence if you want security. Just asking for security here and giving carte Blanche to the enemy without reprisal consequences is a doomed policy.

Regarding Malaysia, Dr. Zakir has mentioned in previous speeches that the area he lives in is more Islamic compared to other parts of the country. He has also clarified that his decision to live in Malaysia was not solely based on it being an Islamic state. He chose it because the government is not fully controlled by foreign powers like the USA or Saudi Arabia.

آپ ڈاکٹر صاحب کی مجبوری بھی سمجھیں۔ اگر وہ اس بات کا جواب دیتے کہ ایک اسلامی معاشرے میں یہ سب ہو رہا ہے، تو پھر ان پر اور ان جیسے علماء دین پر بھی سوال اٹھ سکتا ہے کہ اگر ایک اسلامی معاشرے میں یہ سب خرابیاں ہیں، تو پھر آپ اور آپ جیسے دین کے ٹھیکیدار یہاں کیا کر رہے ہیں؟ جب کہ دین کا علم تو آپ دے رہے ہیں اور اسلام کی خدمت تو آپ کر رہے ہیں، پھر اسلام کہاں ہے؟ کیا یہی اسلام ہے جو ہم روزانہ پاکستان میں دیکھتے ہیں؟ ذرا سوچیں اور یہ بھی سوچیں جو ڈاکٹر صاحب ان لطیفوں کو اسلام سے جوڑ رہے ہیں اور ان کا دفاع کر رہے ہیں۔
