Thar looks huge ! However, despite its ‘hugeness’, no luggage space and a hassle to access the rear seat. Jimny, while diminutive, it has fairly good boot space and moderately usable back seats.
Jimny is a very desirable vehicle. Both front and rear solid axles are very useful and practical in offroad, and it can be lifted as much as you wish without issues, whereas in Independent-suspensions, the CV-axles tend to tilt and get damaged after lifting. Also being an international product, Jimny has infinite aftermarket options.
I own a Thar, Jimny may be a capable vehicle, but inspite of being 5 door is still not practical. As it has to be made off road ready. Stock Thar is clearly better equipped than Stock Jimny. Jimny is already overpriced and to enhance its capabilities to perform in maximum terrain requires more investment. Clearly Thar (Stock) is a clear winner over Jimny (Stock)
@@expeditionunknown8268 Yes. Definitely. Thar has a more upmarket feel and is capable in stock form. But in comparison to the upcoming 5door thar, jimny is on the affordable side. It lacks road presence though, but it is targeted at practicality, and would perform well in narrow mountain roads.
@@UrbanJeepster Sir, with due respect, i differ with you on this. I have quite a good exposure on both vehicles. (One I own and Other I see on daily basis) Jimny is a bigger compromise in everything than THAR. Apart of being three door and just manageable boot, Thar is much more liveable vehicle. Convenient on the road and enjoyable and capable in Off-road, Thar is a much better lifestyle vehicle… Thar will always outshine Jimny, and Jimny will always look like a compromise especially if the purpose of buying Jimny is Lifestyle….

Whatever it is, the main reason why Jimmy score more in this review is because of the cost cutting done on safety standards and other elements such as tipical alto type signal lights and many more due to this they provides 5 doors and etc features. Whereas, thar gives the pride of elegance and muscular road presence and Jimny is just an trial ball from Suzuki to get into specific segment. Just go for thar guyz (opinion) maruti valo offend mat hona ✌️

Reply to thar lovers and jimny trollers: Jimny is a really good car and I have good reasons for that 1 jimny comes in a price that is the cheapest in the segment 2 it is the only car company that we can fully trust whether it is service maintenance or parts 3 it comes in a petrol engine which is capable to start in one go at extreme cold conditions 4 this car has the most premium feel and feedback in the segment 5 if we compare it to thar the seats are better the comfort is better and if we talk about engine this is engine creates a power of 105 ps which is more than enough because this car is light weighted 6 the first car in segment that comes with 6 air bags 7 best ride quality in the segment 8 yes jimny is not spacious as much as thar but it is a car this is being sold globally for a very long time, so we have many accessories for building up space in the car like,- cup holders storage bags near gearbox arm rest rear storage bags and many more also it has more boot space than thar!! 9 it kind of looks good to me but if anyone finds this car ugly just change the grill upgrade the tyres modify the rim then I'm sure you're gonna love it

Comparison Video Aur acha ho skta tha....Yeh video Muze confusing laga....as per my understanding....aapko single single component ko lekr uska comparison krna chahiye tha....eg. 1) Tyre size of Jimny and Tyre size of Thar. 2) Headlights of Jimny and Head lights of Thar. Agar aap yesa video bnate toh aur jyada Easy hota Samjne ke liye.
Force Gurkha is even worse than Thar. Same length of 13 feet but 10 inches taller than Thar. So a perfect chance for unwanted rollover. Jimny is very lightweight, will definitely be a bumpy ride.

Jimny has a long heritage. Also the biggest proof of a good car is Indian army had been using Gypsy which is second generation Jimny, in its fleet convoy since decades. Now it's up to you too decide which is good. ❤

One will never get comfort what you get on jimny on thar. Also Jimny is more practical be it city or plain roads. Thar is purely lifestyle product. For family jimny is better proposition than thar.
Suzuki will score over thar over the years as Mahindra engine will last not more than 4-5years ,then it will start sounding like truck In short, Suzuki is more reliable
Jimny is globally off-road vehicle & it’s more practical than thar. And dear madam compared the vehicle side by side by doing offroad performance not looks and feel
This review is same as Force Gurkha.... Everyone was negative about Thar when Gurkha came.... Ultimately, Mahindra Thar is winner.... Doesn't require such Idiotic reviews....
