Lord Krishna is narrating the story of how Mahabali Hanuman came into existence. One day, Lord Brahma along with other 'devas' visited 'Vaikunth' to seek help from Lord Vishnu. They grieve about the demon king, Ravana who poses a threat to everyone because of Lord Brahma's boon. Lord Vishnu decides to incarnate as a human being in order to end Ravana's evil deeds as he cannot be killed by any other means. On the other hand, Lord Shiva is seen chanting 'Ram' when Goddess Parvati asks him what does the name suggests? Lord Shiva tells her about the upcoming reincarnation and how he will also incarnate as Mahabali Hanuman to assist Lord Vishnu against Ravana.
