During a historical period in Rajasthan, numerous Rajput men became martyrs on the battlefield, making it increasingly challenging to find men over the age of 18. This led to a significant increase in widows in every village. For over 1500 years, attackers often utilized the Pakistan & Rajasthan route, resulting in frequent conflicts in the desert region with limited resources. Rajput communities valiantly fought these battles, with support from various Hindu communities. The participation extended across all castes. Following the arrival of the British, society was divided into categories such as SC/ST/OBC, which historians argue disrupted the unity fostered by these warrior clans. Many historians assert that without the contributions of warrior communities like the Rajputs, Sikhs, Jats, and Gujjars, Hinduism would have faced greater challenges from Islam and Christianity, potentially leading to the conversion of many regions to these religions.

@@Raman42002What's your forefathers contribution to history of Rajasthan? Do they take part in any war or they built great cities like Udaipur, Jaipur or Jodhpur Jaisalmer, Bikaner and so on. Because you people have no history and out of jealousy you always crying on Mughal thing. You forgot about sacrifices Rajput's have made for their mother land since 8th century.

@@Raman42002 Hinduism 🕉️ was only saved by these warrior clans (Rajput/Sikhs/Jaats/Gujjars) and the history you have learned through movies, NCERT syllabus, etc., which were heavily influenced by the British, Congress, CPM, etc., didn’t reveal the true reality. Many kings or members of those Rajput and Sikh communities served in the army. For example, the Maharaja of Jaipur, Brigadier Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh, served in the Indian army from 1951 to 1975. In the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, he was decorated with the Maha Vir Chakra, the country's second-highest award for gallantry in the face of the enemy. Jai Singh, to save Maharana Pratap, didn’t kill him and let him cross the boundary to save himself. So, if you really refer to true Indian history, you will realize that Rajput communities have always been the strongest pillars of India, and if you count all the martyrs in all wars, you will find Rajput individuals prominently among them."
