Beautiful explanation by Swami Mukundananda ji.Swamiji started explaining the kinds of knowledge in the world. One is having blind faith, another is by social heredity of getting knowledge from bodily parents, as they are christians, we became christian, etc; The other kind of knowledge is from the Vedas which are devoid of defects and pure perfect source of knowledge. It is the truth ever existed, will exist and will be existed forever. Swamiji mentioned first step is Sravan. We need to hear this knowledge from a God realized saint or we can study. Study is kind also of Sravan. And also there is nothing impact our beliefs as listening. we need to keep on listening, listening, listening. There is no other way. As of know we know the knowledge but we have not realized it and it will not help. Till we realize the knowledge we need to keep on hearing again and again from Guru and Satsang. Then comes the second step of contemplating the knowledge like a cow. Cow grazes the grass and it sits and process it from one stomach to other. Likewise we need to process the knowledge which we listened through contemplating upon again and again. Then we will develop faith in the knowledge as mentioned, Guru Vedanta Vakyeshu Druda Viswasah Shadda. That knowledge will get fixed in our mind by the grace. when we forget the good knowledge we will fall down to the level of animals. But all these steps will be done through practice, practice, practice. We are not like Arjun, who heard one time and remembered everything. We will remember good knowledge through practice. Shree krishna said in Bhagavad Gita, Ohh Arjun contemplate on the defects of material world though diseases, death, unhappiness, etc; Then comes Nidhi dhyasan the third stage. We need to live with that knowledge. The intellect will be filled with good knowledge and we need to live with it. If we have 100% faith in that knowledge we will become God realized at that very moment.

It is Necessary to keep listening to divya Gyan, then repeatedly recall the meaning of the Gyan, how it relates to our life, and make assertive decisions to believe in this Gyan. Swamiji says that true knowledge leads to faith and faith leads to selfless love. So how does one seek true knowledge? If we ask worldly people, they will not know. Thus, we need to rely on the Vedas hear the scriptural knowledge from a God-realized saint because these scriptures are the most credible source of divine knowledge. The knowledge of God, like God, is also eternal so first seek and internalize the knowledge, then reflect on it and repeatedly practice until perfections is achieved.
