Ganesh Chaturthi, one of the most beloved festivals in Maharashtra, holds a special place in our hearts this year as we celebrate our very first Gauri-Ganpati (Mahalaxmi) Puja as a couple.
The festival, which honors Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, is celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion in our state. It's a time for family gatherings, elaborate decorations, and delicious feasts, but it's also a time for spiritual reflection and seeking blessings for a prosperous and obstacle-free life.
We embarked on this beautiful journey of togetherness. The Gauri-Ganpati Puja is a symbol of prosperity, wisdom, and harmony. The Goddess Mahalaxmi, and Lord Ganesha are believed to bless us with wealth, good fortune, and success. Their presence in our home brings positive energy and a sense of peace.
Preparing for this puja has been an incredible experience. From selecting the idols and decorating the altar to planning the menu and inviting friends and family, every step has been filled with love and anticipation. We have also taken guidance from our elders and learned the rituals and prayers associated with the puja.
This festival not only strengthens our bond as a couple but also connects us with our cultural roots and traditions. It reminds us of the importance of gratitude, humility, and seeking blessings from the divine.
As we welcome Lord Ganesha and Goddess Mahalaxmi into our home, we hope that their divine presence fills our lives with love, happiness, and prosperity. We also wish for peace and harmony not only in our home but in the world around us.
