This story from Mahabharat is about the famous teacher Ayoddhaumya and his devoted disciples Aruni and Upamanyu.
Guru Dhaumya was Yudhishthir's purohit and this story of Aruni and Upamanyu was narrated to Janamejay by Vaisampayana rishi and is found in the Adi Parva of Mahabharat.
