The most important part of Kadhi is the proportion of Curd & Besan, which he didn't mention. Besan should be 1/4 of the curd and one should add 4 times water. For 2 cup curd, add 1/2 cup besan and 8 cups of water.

This is a recipe which was uploaded 3 years ago.. but I tried it yesterday. I'm really thankful... It turned out great. Especially after trying out a dozen kadhi recipes. I did sweat a bit, but the result was worth it. Thank you, chef. I just added some dhaniya leaves in the end, eventually it was awesome.

Looks creamy and utterly delicious. Once I made an onion-less version (since we Bongs are those weird people who consider masoor ka dal, garlic and onion as 'amish' or non-veg!!!) with chopped spinach, green chillis and of course, the ginger paste. I always feared making kadhi but thought of taking the risk today with confidence of Bharatzkitchen support and my mother's tips.
