I Tried it Today. It Turned out to be very very good. It just took a lot of time to prove When we roll and keep it back in the tin. It didn't rise in 30mins. I had to wait much longer.

Hello, great question. Mostly milk wash is done on cookies and cake and oil wash is done on bread. Similarly you must have seen chefs doing egg wash on pastries, pizza and thing like that. All of these are basically used to give good color and texture to the dish.
