ससुराल पक्ष से विवाद को लेकर सुर्खियों में आईं जालोर की पूर्व विधायक अमृत मेघवाल मंगलवार को मीडिया के सामने आईं। ससुर को धक्का मारने के वायरल वीडियो के बारे में सफाई दी कि ससुर और काका ससुर ने मुझे भद्दी गालियां दी थीं। पूरी प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में एडवोकेट पति बाबूलाल निशाने पर रहे।
जिन पर गंभीर आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि मैं विधायक रहते 5 साल में जनता की सेवा करती रही। पति ने मुझे जयपुर रहने का बोला और जालोर में खुद संभालते रहे। उन दौरान मेरे नाम के लेटरपैड उन्हीं के पास रहते थे। वे मेरे फर्जी साइन करके डिजायर, अन्य काम करते थे। प्रेस वार्ता में उनसे पूछा गया कि 5 साल में बाबूलाल ने कितना कमाया तो कहा कि उन्होंने 40 से 50 करोड़ की प्रॉपर्टी बना ली है।
अमृता ने कहा कि मुझे कुछ वकीलों से पता चला कि मेरा तलाक हो गया है। मुझे पता चला तो अपील दायर की है। उधर, अमृता मेघवाल के आरोपों पर एडवोकेट बाबूलाल ने कहा कि आज इतने साल बाद उन्हें विधायक कार्यकाल की बातें याद आ रही हैं, लेकिन इतने समय वे कहां थी? रविवार को हुए विवाद को लेकर कहा कि घर की बातें बड़े बुजुर्गों के सामने होती हैं प्रेस वार्ता में मजाक नहीं बनाया जाता।

She clarified the viral video where she was seen pushing her father-in-law, stating that both her father-in-law and uncle-in-law had hurled obscene abuses at her. Throughout the press conference, her advocate husband Babulal was the primary target of her accusations.
Amrit alleged serious charges against her husband, saying that during her five-year tenure as an MLA, she served the public while her husband managed affairs in Jalore and asked her to stay in Jaipur. She claimed that during this period, Babulal had her letterheads and used them for various purposes, forging her signatures. When asked about Babulal's earnings over the five years, she stated that he amassed properties worth 40 to 50 crores.
Amrit also revealed that she learned about her divorce from some lawyers and has since filed an appeal. On the other hand, Advocate Babulal responded to her accusations, questioning why she was recalling incidents from her tenure after so many years and wondering where she had been all this time. Regarding the dispute on Sunday, he remarked that family matters should be discussed with elders and not turned into a public spectacle.
