Harshad mehta was not the only criminal in this, he just utilized a loophole in the system, he defined the irregularities of SEBI and RBI and in an interview he told that RBI accepted the loophole in the system and also accepted that RBI was aware of this trade since 1 year. He was not the only one who manipulated the stock market, during that time , there were many who used to manipulate for their personal benefits and profits.
