The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11 is set to kick off on October 18, and all teams have finalized their squads, gearing up for the title. Bengaluru Bulls, a team determined to win their second PKL title, have strengthened their squad with top talent from the PKL 11 auction.
Bengaluru Bulls are unique in PKL history for having never changed their head coach, Randhir Singh Sehrawat, since Season 1. Under his leadership, the Bulls have retained their captain, Saurabh Nandal, for PKL 11. Saurabh, who has been with the team since PKL Season 7, is an integral part of their defense. In PKL 10, he played 21 matches, earning 49 tackle points, and overall, he has 246 tackle points, including 11 High 5s, in 92 matches.
This season, Saurabh will anchor the defense from the right-corner position. However, the Bulls' defense lacks experienced players in the left-corner, right-cover, and left-cover positions. Nitin Rawal, an all-rounder with 94 tackle points and 142 raid points in 81 matches, along with Aditya Powar, will handle the left corner. P. Subramaniam will cover the right cover, while Parteek will manage the left cover, forming the Bulls' defense unit.
In the raiding department, Pardeep Narwal, Ajinkya Pawar, Akshit, and Sushil will lead the charge. Pardeep Narwal, the ‘Dubki King,’ holds the record for the most raid points (1690) in PKL history. He returns to Bengaluru Bulls after being bought for 80 lakhs. Ajinkya Pawar, acquired for ₹1.1075 crores, brings experience from his previous stints with Jaipur Pink Panthers and Tamil Thalaivas. Young raiders Akshit and Sushil will also play key roles, with Akshit impressing in PKL 10 by scoring 61 raid points in just 10 matches.
