It was Thursday and we six friends went out at 6 in the morning for Khatu Shamma. We had planned to go to Khatu just 2 days ago. My suggestion was that along with visiting Khatu Shyama Ji, we can also go to Salasar Balaji which is just 100 to 110 km from Khatu. Everyone got ready after hearing this from me. We all got ready and came to the office on Wednesday night so that we could complete our shift at 6 in the morning and leave directly so there was not much traffic on the way and we could reach our destination without wasting much time.
We left on time and after traveling some distance, we got the car refueled and left. On the way, one of our friends vomited because he had not eaten anything since morning. Then we decided to eat and drink something. We saw a restaurant that looked okay but the food there was not that good to eat. We ate the food and then left from there. By around 12:30 we had reached Khatu. After going there we found a place for bathing and car parking which we found after a lot of searching.
After taking a bath, we left from there at around 2:30 pm to have the darshan of Shyam ji. The path to the temple from there was quite far and the sun was right above our heads. We were walking in this sun with devotion in our hearts. We drank almost 4 liters of water during the journey to the temple. We took 3rd entry into the temple premises where there was a lot of arrangement, big fans were installed and water fountains were running which were providing some relief. The temple opened at 3:30 pm and all of us devotees had the darshan of Shyam ji.
After visiting there we felt very hungry so we ate veg pulao and after some time we left from there to visit Slasar Balaji. By now I was quite tired but Mohit bhai who owned the car did not have any option to sleep. So he was walking and he had taken a little nap.
At around 5:30 we reached Salasar Balaji and without wasting time we had the darshan of Balaji. and see the arti. After coming out from there, the most useless experience till now was going to a place where both the welcome and the food were useless. At 9 o'clock we left for Delhi and on the way we stopped at a restaurant where we ate tea and parathas which were quite good. At around 5:00 pm we had already returned to Delhi
