- 2/3 cup condensed milk
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup cream
*For Icing:*
- Whipping cream
- Sugar
- Vanilla essence
*For Garnish:*
- Drinking chocolate (optional)
*Procedure:*
1. In a bowl, combine refined flour, cornflour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Sieve the dry ingredients to ensure they are well-mixed and airy.
2. In another bowl, mix curd, sugar, and vanilla essence until sugar dissolves. Add oil and continue mixing until well combined.
3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, creating a batter.
4. Transfer the batter into a cake mold lined with a baking sheet.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
6. While the cake is baking, prepare a syrup by boiling condensed milk, milk, and cream until it reaches a boil.
7. Once the cake is baked, let it cool and then prick it with a toothpick.
8. Pour the prepared milk syrup over the cake, ensuring it is absorbed. Save some syrup for serving.
9. Refrigerate the cake for 3-4 hours.
10. Whip together whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla essence for icing.
11. Decorate the chilled cake with the whipped cream.
12. Optionally, sprinkle drinking chocolate over the cake for garnish.
13. Cut the cake into pieces and serve with the saved milk syrup.
