This story is about a village. In a village lived a very poor man named Birju. His wife's name was Sandhya. Birju used to work as a laborer to support his family. He had no children. One day a sage came to his house.The sage took a loaf of bread from his house and blessed him that he would definitely get something tomorrow. The next day the chief's son Mohan came to Birju's house and said that father has called. Birju went to the chief's house with Mohan. The chief gave a bag full of money to Birju. Birju took him to his home, then both of them went towards the forest to find the sage.Both of them started living with the sage, after many days the sage went to a village where the people were suffering from a disease. The sage went to the landlord of that village, he refused to help the villagers, the sage got angry and came to the forest. And called all the villagers into the forest, and with his magic turned the leaf of that tree into a gold leaf.Sandhya cooked food for all the villagers, everyone ate, everyone fell asleep, Birju and Sandhya stole the gold leaves and came to their home, and were very happy, after some time the gold leaves turned into dust. The sage came to the door, the sage cursed both of them that you will always be deprived of the happiness of children, and the poor.
