Seema - (while talking) Mother, the first rains are about to start in our in-laws' house. I don't know how you manage the rains. If only you could tell me once.
Payal - (interrupting) How do you manage the rains, sister-in-law? By making pakodas and tea in the rain. Why is there a need to take so much tension in that?
Seema - (while smiling) Sister-in-law, you won't understand. You are from the city. Rain means different things for city dwellers and different things for villagers. Rain is not the same for everyone.
Yamini - (strutting) yes but thank god. We have everything so we don't need to worry too much. Don't think too much Seema bahu. We will see when it rains. We are middle class people not beggars to worry so much.
narration - Yamini ended the conversation by saying this, Seema was used to making arrangements for the rainy season from her maternal home itself, that's why she didn't mind and started saving money, stocking the house with ration etc. as the rains came. Narration - Ram went and gave all the money to Seema. Seema could see the delicate condition of her house, that is why she started spending that money very thoughtfully. On the other hand, Raju gave the money he had earned to his wife Payal, which Payal spent on shopping and eating without thinking. Just like that, the next year passed and the rains were about to come again but this time the situation of Yamini's house was very critical. Her house had also become weak.
