Here I am sharing every maharashtrian household special ingredient i.e typical, traditional maharashtrian goda masala.Goda masala is used in many classic Maharashtrian recipes such as Bharleli Vangi,masale bhat,misal,Amti and several other curries that have an authentic Maharashtrian flavour.Do try this goda masala recipe and let me know your feedback in the comment box.Also, Do not forget to like, share and subscribe to my channel for more recipes.
You can store this masala for maximum 1 year.But try to use within 6 months as over the period of time it starts loosing its aroma.
For 350 gm Goda Masala Powder:
Ingredients:
100 gm Coriander seeds
50 gm dry Coconut
25 gm White Sesame seeds
25 gm Poppy seeds
25 gm cumin seeds
25 gm byadgi mirchi
5 gm Stone flower/dagad phool
5 gm bay leaves/tej patta
5 gm Star anise/chakri phool
5 gm Black cumin seeds
5 gm Khada Hing / Asafoetida stone
5gm gm Cinnamon sticks
5 gm Black peppercorns/kalimirch
5 gm Cloves
5 gm Mace
5 gm turmeric
2-4 sp Oil
1-2 sp salt
Optional(if not available)
5 gm Niger Seeds/Khurasni/Ramtil
5 gm Black seasame seeds
5 gm Cassia buds/cobra's saffron/nagkesar
5 gm cardamom/elaichi
