बचपन में पहली बार जो देखा था,उसका आनंद ही कुछ और था।light कटने का डर,रुकावट के लिए खेद है__का भय; धड़कते दिल से सीरियल देखते थे। हर एपिसोड के लिए भगवान से मन्नत मानते थे।अगर बिना किसी बाधा के आज का प्रकरण देखना हो जाए तो कई हजार बार नाम जप करेंगे।फिर पूरा भी करते थे।जबसे होश संभाला पटना में ही रहते हैं।पटना के हर रास्ते पर चलते समय सोचते थे कि चाणक्य भी इन वीथियों से गुजरे होंगे।पाटलिपुत्र के निवासी होने का गौरव अनुभव होता था।

This show needs to be rebooted. The only show where casting was done right, this man actually looks how Chandragupta would have looked like. He looks like a king and not a beefed up model like in other shows 😂

Wish Dr. Dwivedi had shown Durdhara but guess he had planned to show her later but the show was stopped before that. I also wanted to see his depiction of Seleucid-Mauryan war and later Chandragupta marrying Seleucus' daughter.

I so wanted to see Durdhara and Chandragupta's love story, she was his childhood friend, daughter of his eldest maternal uncle as per Mahavansh Tika and his Chief Queen. 😢 Her tragic death would have been heart wrenching and Chanakya be in forever guilt of accidentally killing the only queen who was loyal from heart for Chandragupta.

In Parishist Parvan its written that Chanakya had allowed Nand to take his essential items in his cart and leave the palace. He took two wives and a daughter with him. When the family met Chandragupta on the road this girl fell in love with him at first sight. Seeing this Nanda allowed her to choose him as her husband like a Swayamvar. But when she reached Chandragupta, 9 spokes of his wheel broke. This angered Chandragupta and he insulted her and told her not to follow him. But Chanakya said this Rajkanya was auspicious for his dynasty and convinced Chandragupta to marry her. As the name of Nanda Princess is not mentioned in the source, the writer gave her fictional name Dharini. Chandragupta would later marry his relative's daughter Durdhara and make her his chief queen but before that the show was stopped by the channel. 😒

13:45 😂 Chandragupta was feeling shy talking about love with Acharya, after all he brought him up like his son. Their conversation is like a son saying he wants to do love marriage not arranged marriage. Oh how funny and Chanakya's reaction is like an angry father 😂

Chandragupta rejected Nanda princess shows how much bitter enmity was between Nanda and Chandragupta. For Helena he spared Seleucus' life but he didn't spare Nanda even for Nand Duhita.

Chief queen was Durdhara, Nand's daughter was another wife and daughter of Seleucus was favourite wife of Chandragupta

Its true Chandragupta never wanted to marry Nand Nandini, its written in Parishist Parvan. As this girl's name is not mentioned, the writer gave her fictional name Dharini.

14:43 I guess the writer was building foundation of entry of Durdhara because Chandragupta was hell bent on not marrying Nand Nandini (Dharini in this show). Chandragupta definitely had some girl in mind and she was most probably was Durdhara. But alas before birth of Bindusara, the show went off air. 😡💔
