हा सर, barda wildlife sanctuary हमारे जामनगर डिस्ट्रिक्ट में ही है, वहा पर किलेश्वर महादेव का प्रसिद्ध मंदिर भी है, जामनगर के राजा जामसाहेब की जमीन हे वो. और अभी अभी दो महीने हुआ शायद वहा से 50 किलोमिटर दूर एक गांव में लायनेस दिखाई दी थी.. जब के वहा से गिर का जंगल लगभग 150 किलोमिटर दूर हे.. मतलब जूनागढ़ जिल्ले के लाइन हमारे जामनगर जिल्ले में अपनी मर्जी से ऑलरेडी दस्तक दे चुके हे हाला के किल्लेश्वर,(barda wildlife) बहुत छोटी जगह हे लायन के लिए, इतनी जगह तो एक अकेले टाइगर की टेरिटरी होती है. फिलहाल वहा लेपर्ड का एरिया हे, लायन अगर वहा शिफ्ट भी किए, तो लेपर्ड वो जगह छोड़ के आसपास में गांव में आतंक मचाएगा.. इससे अच्छा तो हिंगोलगढ़ का जंगल बड़ा हे

My Opinion About Link between African and Asian Lions I first thought that lions have come to India from Africa as the India was once part of Africa around 190 million years ago. Indian plate's separation started around 190 million years ago, separation completed around 100 million years ago and smashed into Eurasian plate around 50 million years ago. Lions did not exist in the Jurassic period. Oldest feline fossils discovered dated back to around 6 million years ago. Based on the features, Indian lions are closer to north-western Africa's barbary lions instead of southern Africa's lions. North African Barbary lions grew denser mane due to colder region. Barbary lions were flourishing in the Roamn empire (27 BC-476 AD) but were hunted to extinction during the colonial rule. As a result, they were forced to move towards north (Egypt, Iran, India...) and eventually lost density of their mane due to hot climate.

Charles Darwin's theory of evolution states that all living beings have strong adaptable instincts to their environmental conditions. The best example is platypus. Hence we cannot deny survival instincts and adaptation of animals like lions into other forest conditions. Its only a matter of changes in upcoming generations. Same like tigers which have survived in various conditions lije dense tropical forest (corbet), mangrooves(sundarbans) and arid(Tadoba) conditions.
