हम सभी इस बात को मानते हैं कि जीवन को हमने पैदा नहीं किया। कोई ईश्वर, परमात्मा, #god या #supreme है जो जीवन देता है, वही जीवनदाता है। वो जीवनदाता ही जीवन लेता भी है, इसलिए जीवन का लेना-देना हमारे वश में नहीं। लेकिन ये जीवन जो मिला है इसे कैसे जीएं, इसके जीने की कला क्या हो- ये हमारे वश में है। वास्तव में जीवन या #life तो #eternal है, जब हम इसे सीमित समझते हैं तभी मृत्य को महसूस करते हैं। लेकिन वास्तविकता यह है कि मृत्यु शरीर की होती है, आत्मा की नहीं। आत्मा हमेशा जीवंत है, वर्तमान शरीर के पैदा होने से पहले भी वो जीवंत थी और वर्तमान शरीर के अंत होने के बाद भी वो जीवंत ही रहेगी।यह हमारे ऊपर है कि हम खुद को आत्मा समझते हैं या शरीर, हम आत्मा समझ कर अपना व्यवहार करते हैं या सिर्फ शरीर समझ कर जीवन जीते हैं।
