Most of the shopkeepers selling ladies jewellery are non Maharashtrians.regarding bargaining I want to specifically mention here that we were there on last Tuesday ,there’s one shop on the ground floor of the building,outside a whole line of various bindis are hanging,(I am mentioning this because I forgot to see the name of the shop)at the end you have to pay your bill .this person is very arrogant,as we are staying in Mumbai we have heard that you have to bargain,so we asked for the discount as we have purchased a good amount of stuff in soft manner but this man arrogantly said ,पैसा कम नही होगा लेना है तो लो. Even though I let it go,but when I paid the bill he gave me torn ₹50/- note ,when I asked him to change it he gave me 50 ₹ coins .1/2 ₹ when I Said please give me note as I have to travel a lot till evening and go back to Mumbai it will be very inconvenient for me.He started talking arrogantly.then I took back my 500₹ note from him and returned his stuff to him .we get everything in Mumbai but I wanted to have some memory of Pune that’s why we had been there. I have mentioned this in detail because I don’t want others to get humiliated as we are paying for the stuff what we are purchasing.So I recommend not to buy anything from this shop.
