उत्तराखंड के कुमाऊँ मंडल के अल्मोड़ा जिले में अल्मोड़ा से 22किमी. दूरी पर अवस्थित कुम्हाटी गाँव का यह मकान जिसे स्थानीय भाषा में बाखली कहा जाता है, यूँ तो 200 साल पुराना बताया जाता है। सम्पूर्ण उत्तराखंड के 10 पहाड़ी जनपदों से हो रहे लगातार पलायन से यहाँ के ऐसे ही कई बेशकीमती मकान खंडहर बना दिए हैं लेकिन यह सुखद बात है कि यह बाखली आज भी सरसब्ज है व यह उत्तराखंड का पहला ऐसा मकान है जो सबसे लम्बा है व इसमें 35 परिवार रहते हैं।

This house of Kumhati village located at a distance, which is called Bakhali in the local language, is said to be 200 years old.
