बारिश के साथ ही हमारे शहर और महत्वपूर्ण इमारतें पानी में डूबती दिखीं हैं. दिल्ली की सड़कों में ट्रैफिक जाम से लेकर रेलवे स्टेशनों और एयरपोर्ट पर हाहाकार ही नहीं मचा बल्कि अयोध्या में नवनिर्मित राम मंदिर भी पानी से सराबोर दिखा. म्युनिस्पल अधिकारी और सरकारें चरम मौसमी घटनाओं का हवाला देकर इस अव्यवस्था से पल्ला झाड़ना चाहते हैं लेकिन यह सब भ्रष्टाचार, खराब शहर निर्माण योजना यानी बैड टाउन प्लानिंग का भी नतीजा है. जहां ठोस कचरा प्रबंधन की कोई व्यवस्था नहीं होती और जलनिकासी हो नहीं पाती.
इस वीडियो रिपोर्ट में हृदयेश जोशी हज़ारों करोड़ रुपये की लागत से खड़े किए गए स्टेट ऑफ द आर्ट प्रोजेक्ट्स पर नज़र डाल रहे हैं. चाहे वह जीएमआर ग्रुप द्वारा बनाया दिल्ली एयरपोर्ट टर्मिनल हो जिसके एक्सपेंशन की कीमत 12000 करोड़ है या लार्सन एंड टूब्रो, टाटा कंसल्टेंसी और आईआईटी की मदद से खड़ा करीब 1800 करोड़ का राम मंदिर कॉम्प्लेक्स हो या एल एंड टी, टाटा और गुजरात एचसीपी कंपनी के द्वारा बनाया गया सेंट्रल विस्टा प्रोजेक्ट, जो कुल 20,000 करोड़ रूपये से अधिक का है. इन बड़ी-बड़ी कंपनियों और उच्च संस्थानों के बावजूद ये सभी इमारतें या इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर कुछ घंटों की बारिश नहीं झेल पाते.

I have changed 7 companies in 2 years, same issues remain in each state. I have worked with several vendors who give quality output, but these type of vendors were often harassed In nonsensical ways. I am in support of growing india but don't stand for bad Engineering.

Basics are not being followed in construction. 1. CD works to be completed initially before commencement of maintenance work. 2. Instead of paying more attention to architectural beauty attention needs to be payed on structural stability. 3. Stop playing with natural lakes & rivers and stop converting them into complexes. 4. These works should be got done departmentally in coordination with Town Planning department & not by multinational corporations where the department officials are just a pawn on chess boards. These multinational corporations are in direct contact with the very senior Govt. servants that includes politicians holding portfolios in government. It makes the supervising authorities a puppet in the hands of very senior Government Servants & the multinational corporations. Let the designated Govt. authorities Handle the projects instead of senior government servants supervising and having no knowledge of construction 🏗️ technologies.

I won't comment on the relationship between corruption and the electoral bonds. What I can say as a Senior Civil Engineering professional is that the general level of core engineering branch engineers has fallen during the last 10 -15 years due to best talent moving towards Software enginèring. And this trend is going to continue in the future. Bina cement aur kisi modern technology ke 500 saal pehle bani buildings aaj bhi mazbooti ke saath khadi hain. Hume technology to ijaad ki lekin bharishtachar ne sab malai kha liya. Jo thekedar electoral bonds me paisa de chuka hai wo building par paisa kahan se lagayega.

I cannot find anymore a good justified reason to pay my taxes to the government. Everything is glittery with no durability. No investment for proper infrastructure, education, health or other public services. In coming years, Indian cities are going to he hellholes to live in. Better to move out to some other better countries if possible.
