Shahi Rasmalai Cake Recipe Ingredients
3/4 cup Chini (Sugar)
3/4 cup Water
8 to 10 Kesar ke Dhage(Saffron)
2 Tbl sp water
500 ml Full fat Milk
6 to 7 Kesar ke Dhage (Saffron )
1/2 Tsp Elaichi powder (Green Cardamom powder)
3 Tbl sp Chini (Sugar)
1 Pinch Yellow Food colour(Optional)
1 Tbl sp Badam slice (Almond slice)
1 Tbl sp Pista slice (Pistachio slice)
2 Tbl Sp Corn flour or Custard powder
1/3 cup Milk
1 Tsp Kewda water
Rusk Toast
Sprinkle Badam and Pista slice (Almond & Pistachio )
1/2 cup Whipped Cream
1/4 Tsp Elaichi powder (Green Cardamom powder)
1 Pinch Kesar Ke Dhage (Saffron)
Sprinkle Badam,Pista & Tutti Frutti(Almond,Pistachio and Tutti Fruitti)
Sprinkle Rose petals finely chopped
Add Silver Varak

Very delicious! Takes some time with the sugar syrup and Rasmalai mix. But if we have an hour we can relax and make it. Bit calorific but one piece per person is fine. This dessert can be made once a month. People can also use low sweet plain cake slices, hard not soft, cut thick instead of rusk for a better flavor and texture. But can't be stored for three days or so as the cake slices will disintegrate into the cream layers. With rusk the texture will hold up better. I will make it with hard cake slices instead.
