Ingredients and Method :
(1) 250 gm Urad ki Dhuli Dal / Split Black gram lentils
•Wash the dal properly
•Soak this dal in water for 1 hour
• Don't throw this water we will use it afterwards
(2) 1/3 cup of oil
• Heat this oil in a cooker
(3) Add :
1 Black Cardamom
2Green Cardamom
1Cinnamon Stick
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
10-12 Black Pepper
(4) Add 1 big Sliced onion in the Cooker, as soon as you can feel the aroma of spices
(5) Fry the Onions till they turn Golden-Brown
(6) Now add 2 tbsp of Ginger-Garlic paste and mix it well with the fried onions.
(7) Subsequently, add 500 gm of Beef and mix it well with all the ingredients added earlier
(8) Fry the meat properly till it's colour changes
(9) Add :
2 tbsp Corriander powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Salt
(10) Add 2 Chopped Tomatoes and mix them well with the meat and all the spices
(11) As all ingredients got properly mixed , add 1/4 cup of water
(12) Roast the spices and Meat for 2-3 minutes
(13) As the oil got separated, add 1 glass of water and mix it
(14) Now, Cover the Cooker till 3-4 whistles, so that the meat got tender or completely cooked
(15) After 4 whistles open the Cooker , check the meat, mix well and keep the flame high, roast for 1 more minute
(16) Add Urad ki dhuli dal / Split Black Gram lentils previously soaked in water.
Mix this well with the Meat.
(17) Add 3-4 Split Green Chillies
(18) Add the Water in which Dal was Soaked , besides that add 1 more glass of Water.
Mix well.
(19) Cover the Dal , we don't have to whistle it. and cook it for 20-25 minutes
(20) Add 1 tsp Homemade Garam Masala and few Corriander leaves.
(21) For Tadka :
• In another pan take 2 tbsp of Desi Ghee , let it heat than
• Add 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
Few Ginger Slices
1 slit Green Chilli
Few Chopped Onions
3-4 Dry Red Chillies
• Fry these ingredients till they turn Golden Brown
• Tadka is Ready
• Add this Tadka in the Dal and Cover it for 1 minute
• Mash Dal Gosht is ready
• Serve it with Roti or Naan ..
