Facial Paralysis is a condition when only your face is affected in the entire body. It can be found on the right or left side of the face. In some cases, Paralysis is found over the whole face. There are some veins in the brain that are connected to our entire body and work accordingly. Just like that, there is a vein that helps to perform the facial activity that is known as the Facial Nerve.
A nerve is coming out of the brain, known as the facial nerve. It expands on the different parts of the face through the ear that does all the face activity. If one side gets paralytic, symptoms may show redness in the eyes, no eye movement, no skin movement. These all symptoms indicate Facial Paralysis.
Patients with facials paralysis may recover within 3 to 6 months.
Causes of Facial Paralysis:
There is no specific reason for Facial Paralysis. It can occur anytime, anywhere.
--Hypertension
--Diabetes
--Last trimester of pregnancy
--Wind pressure
--Dental anesthesia
--Blood clots and strokes in the brain
Symptoms of Facial Paralysis:
--Invisible expression
--Not able to move skin like nose, forehead
--Not able to move eyes
--Drooling from the mouth
--Not able to feel any sensation
--Problem while eating
--Not able to smile
Exercises for Facial Paralysis:
--Try to raise both eyebrows
--The muscles on both sides are to be taken in the middle.
--Try to smile with the help of your hands
--Nose movement
--The checks on both sides are to be taken in the middle with the help of hands.
--Try to close your eyes with the help of your hands.
