Hahaha. I am 60 now and I had being having everything in Vinay health home since when I was 10 years old. I stay in the same building Jawahar Mansion. I had puneri Missal Pav in 10 paisa. In 1975 just with 20 paisa I use to have 2 of my favourite dishes. Just 11 years old. Sweet sweet Memories. Just Amazing amazing food.

Dahi misal is my favourite. In my youth it used to be my lunch during cricket matches! It inspired me once to grab 4 wickets in just 3 overs!!! And sabudana khichadi is what I call my "virtuous temptation"😊

Madam you just taste the misal in PRAKASH DUGHDMANDIR misal near Sikka nagar opp PHADKE Ganpati mandir but here you will not get PAV and tea also ,awesome different taste ,I am born & brought in Girgaum area.Thanks

Alka ma'am I'm following you recently for ulhasnagar street food and now this you are very clear and good anchor lovely voice and a great smile no extra make up no show off covering a lot of dishes keep up the good work but I am sorry to tell you when you are making videos all the close up is of the food how you are picking and eating and was quite disappointing to see your nail paint purple close of nails was not good keep this in mind for the future 😊

One small joint that i would DEFINITELY recommend everyone is MUMBADEVI MISAL which is located just 1 minute to the right of LOWER PAREL station... It's so small its easy to miss. They serve only batata wada, Wada Usal with Pav, Misal Pav, and sweet and scalding hot Malpua which is available only till 9 or 10 a.m. The ideal time to visit this joint would be early morning from 6:30 to 9 or even earlier coz the Misal Pav and Usal Pav are so dark and evil, they are best had in the morning to kickstart the day and spicy enough to replace rocket fuel. For around 45 or 50 bucks, this is sheer heaven that a foodie dare not miss!!
Shocked to hear that you have never seen misal, dalimbi usal, and patal bhaji when you say that you have visited a lot of Maharashtrian eateries 😂😂😂 Thalipeeth chutney is a mix of chilli pickle with sweetened curd. Food looks amazing, must visit. Thanks for sharing this place.

Vinay has the best misal, see the no. Of ingredients that goes into it. It does not get soggy and is cripsy. You will find other at Prakash and nay be panshikar. Batata vada and poha is my favourite. Other dishes include patal bhaji, usal, sabudana vada, matar pattice. I miss meeting you, and like the way represent the vlog.
What a superb video yet again Alka :) this restaurant looks so authentic,simple yet very ethnic. No wonder, your comments resonate with me as I am born and brought up in Matunga. You must try and visiting DPs near Ruia College(my alma mater), maybe I can recommend the food when I am there. Thanks only to you, I will surely visit this restaurant as well. Hii, i used to go there when i was 10 yrs old ,for my uncle ,he was very much fond of misal pav , u shud mix sev with poha it is yummy test , & u know that time i was paying only 35 paisa that time one more thing was that call mitha shakarpara are muh me rakhate hi pighal jata tha ,
