Around 1975/1976 I listened to this song when I was in class 9 perhaps. The song attracted me the most. I was not allowed to see movies those days. I had not gone toany cinema hall. But my father being a teacher from Odisha always encouraged me to learn hindi. So I had a fairly good control over hindi. Also my father enthused me to singing in th school where he was the Headmaster. With these resources I always tried to copy this song at home and used to sing it at home in full volume Although nobody liked my song openly still nobody disiked it.This was oneof my best hindi songs of school days. Now when I see it in youtube with Rajesh khanna and Hema Malini the beauty ofthe song is multipled. 🙏

Crystal clear and stable voice even in *High Pitch.* He had *STEREOPHONIC* voice. When you hear *KISHORE KUMAR'S* singing, you feel the song is *ECHOING* from everywhere. His *VOCALS* are pure *Honey Dipped..* *EDIT* :-- But Everyone talks about Kishore Kumar's amazing vocals, Capacity of rendering exactly the right emotions, pain.. excellent throw..but No one Talk about his *BREATH..* KK seems to have an *Unending* breath..he doesn't need to take breath while singing it seems. *LATA JI* also said the same that he had the biggest *lung/breath* capacity. There was a feel for the word and the musical note in Kishore Kumar's singing that makes him great. He was not trained in classical music but when given the job he did it full justice. he very seriously learnt and practice. He created the mood of the poetry and the feel of music, without pretention, it was not acted. That's why when we listen to it that mood is recreated.
