Hello Everyone!
We are back with a new recipe of Chhath Special Khajuri Roti. Khajuri, also known as khajuriya is a traditional dish popular during Chhath festival in Nepal and India. Khajuriya is made with all purpose flour mixed with Suji, different types of dry fruits, ghee, sugar, etc. and fried in the oil. It is delicious to eat and can be kept in the air-tight container for about a month. Watch the video til end and follow the instructions. You will be delighted to see the result. Here is the complete list of the ingredients:
All purpose flour (maida) 400 gm
Suji 300 gm
Sugar 250 gm
Ghee 50 ml
1 tbsp raisins
1 tbsp coconut (finely chopped)
1 tsp fennel seed
½ tsp crushed cardamoms
Milk 150-200 ml
1 liter oil for frying
