Even i found five finger philodendron for free last year growing in tree as an epiphyte. It is priced very high in nurseries. I took two cuttings last year and now I have two pots full of them.

Prices are way higher than other nurseries. Even for commonly available plants, her prices are 3 to 10 times other nurseries. Victoria dracena was priced at 750, which I got last week for Rs 80. Alamanda and hibiscus were priced at Rs 250 which I get at V other nurseries for Rs. 60- 150. Yes, she has many plants which you wouldn't get at other places.

I bought few plants from there. I checked the soil mixes later at home. For a very expensive Philodendron I bought from them, I found roots were rotting in hard red compact soil. And tgey had put this root ball in a bigger pot relatively and soil mix around had lumps of red soil, clay soil, coco chips, charcoal or small bajri. And other philodendron was in complete cocopeat as arrived from source nursery untouched. Yet another plant was in hard clay soil surrounded by local soil. Yet another flowering plant in very hard clay soil with 1 cm top local soil dressing. And none of the roots in any of pots were growing in local soil. So their claim that they change the soil is total fake. At least my experience says so. And prices of some commoly available plants is skyrocketing. I have nothing against them. But want people to know the truth I found and decide for themselves.

I agree with u. Infact I don't even prefer bonsai. Obviously they can be perfect for small space but we should try growing bigger and useful trees because this is the need of time.
