This movie was released 8 yrs before my birth. My father and uncles were avid fans of classical music and Hindi film music . We had a valve radio to listen to these songs. I have grown up hearing the best lyrics, best composition and best singers for all time. Unparalleled work.

Mukesh was the usual singer for Raj Kapoor, especially in his own productions. But this was an AVM production, and I'm glad they had Manna Dey singing these. I can't imagine anyone else singing these wonderful songs from Chori Chori. Plus I like how they make allusions to the famous Walls of Jericho scene from the original movie this is based on: It Happened One Night.
