राजकुमार भोज के बचपन की एक मार्मिक कहानी है। जब वह बच्चा था, उसके माता-पिता का देहांत हो गया। इसके बाद, उसके चाचा लालसिंह ने राज्य की बागडोर संभाल ली। लेकिन लालसिंह के मन में राज्य के प्रति लालच और महत्वाकांक्षा जाग उठी, और वह अपने भतीजे, राजकुमार भोज, को मारने की योजना बनाने लगा। उसने अपने मंत्री को आदेश दिया कि वह भोज को कहीं दूर ले जाकर मार डाले।
मगर मंत्री दयालु और समझदार था। उसने भोज को नहीं मारा, बल्कि उसे लालसिंह के धोखे के बारे में सच बता दिया। इसके बाद, राजकुमार भोज ने अपने चाचा को एक पत्र लिखा, जिसमें उसने कहा कि इस संसार से कोई भी कुछ भी साथ लेकर नहीं गया, लगता है कि चाचा हमारे राज्य को अपने साथ लेकर जाएंगे।
मंत्री ने भोज को अपने घर में सुरक्षित रखा और फिर लालसिंह से मिला और कहा कि उसने अपना कार्य पूरा कर दिया है। जब लालसिंह ने पत्र पढ़ा, तो वह गहरे दुख में डूब गया। मंत्री ने सच बताकर भोज को उसके सामने प्रस्तुत किया। इस घटना से प्रभावित होकर लालसिंह ने अपने सभी सांसारिक सुखों का त्याग कर दिया और राज्य की जिम्मेदारी अपने भतीजे भोज को सौंप दी। इसके बाद, वह अपनी पत्नी के साथ ध्यान में लीन हो गया।
This is a poignant story from the childhood of Prince Bhoj. When he was just a child, his parents passed away, and his uncle, Lalsingh, took over the reins of the kingdom. However, Lalsingh was consumed by greed and ambition for the kingdom, and he devised a plan to kill his nephew, Prince Bhoj. He ordered his minister to take Bhoj far away and kill him.
But the minister was kind and wise. He did not kill Bhoj; instead, he revealed the truth about Lalsingh’s treachery. After learning this, Prince Bhoj wrote a letter to his uncle, stating that no one has ever taken anything from this world, and it seems that Uncle plans to take the kingdom with him.
The minister hid Bhoj in his own home and then met with Lalsingh, claiming that the task was completed. When Lalsingh read the letter, he was overwhelmed with grief. Seeing this, the minister revealed the truth and presented Bhoj before him. Deeply moved, Lalsingh renounced all worldly pleasures, entrusted the kingdom to his nephew, and went into meditation with his wife.
